FLYING

I flew over the city and looked down through buildings and bodies to the light in the people, electrical impulses, swarming living lights flowing round the roads and rail, buzzing in their living units, a vast pulsating swarm of information, extending in space and then into time, backwards and forwards through the years in ribbons, connecting, branching into more strands, then burning up and melting into the air or blending into the ground, a vast living crystalline structure, an organic four-dimensional life-form, consciously aware in another dimension, and so able to perceive time as I once perceived space.
